Does a lady really need a second blog? Well, yes. In my case, I do. For in little over a year, I plan to say "I do." With anticipation of that profession of devotion, I'm planning and daydreaming and wondering and quizzing and doubting and printing and daydreaming again. I find myself in need a of a place to share thoughts, info and perhaps, sometimes vent. My foodie blog (http://www.palatetopen.com/) is not the locale for such musings.

You see, I'm a sucker in search of a sweet life. As such, I present you with my new blog, lollipop. I feel like I'm still in search for/on the cusp of the sweeter things life has to offer, like marriage (in planning), a home (searching) and garden (check), the pitter patter of tiny toes on bambo flooring (no mom, no check), travels galore (please!), and a bounty of words I've scribed all neatly bound between a hardcover. Not so much to seek, right?

Therefore, on lollipop, I plan to be honest, no matter how vulnerable I feel. I promise to share what I'm going through as I/we plan for a wedding, seek a new and/or revised abode, and whatever else comes rolling my way.
